Regalia® Biofungicide

Regalia® Biofungicide, a staple in IPM programs, is used preventatively for powdery mildew, blight, Anthracnose and other bacterial diseases.

Regalia® Biofungicide delivers better yield and improved harvest quality. Its ISR and SAR modes of action increase crop performance by stimulating a plant’s innate ability to fight diseases. This fungicide offers preventative activity and early control of yield-robbing diseases that result in increased marketable yield and top profit on every acre.

Regalia® Biofungicide utilizes unique modes of action, Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) and Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR).Infographic describing how Regalia Biofungicide protects the leaf surface of a plant with three modes of action: 1. Inhibits pathogen growth via induced systemic response (ISR); 2. Promotes plant growth by stimulating the production of phytohormones and chlorophyll-a; 3. Strengthens cell walls via increased lignin production.

Regalia® Biofungicide can be used in rotation or in combination with other fungicides to synergize and strengthen IPM programs in any conventional crop production. It can also be used alone or with other approved products in organic crop production.

The following best use practices should be kept in mind to effectively use Regalia® Biofungicide:

  • Apply 2 quarts of Regalia per acre in rotation with other fungicides or apply Regalia® at 1 quart per acre in a tank mix with another labeled fungicide such as Stargus®
  • Do not exceed a spray concentration of 1% v/v
  • Begin applying Regalia prior to visible disease symptoms or when disease is first noted
  • Repeat applications at 7-10 day intervals with shorter intervals under higher pressure situations
