This Cookie Policy explains how PFG Holding Corporation d/b/a ProFarm (“ProFarm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) on the ProFarm website at profarm.com.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which provides additional information about our data practices. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.

  1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies and similar technologies help websites function, remember preferences, measure performance, secure the site, and support advertising or retargeting.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies – temporary files that expire when you close your browser; or
  • Persistent cookies – files that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

Cookies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party service providers whose functionality appears on our pages (third-party cookies).

  • How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes set out in the table below. This table reflects Cookiebot’s standard cookie category definitions, which we have adopted for our consent management implementation.

  • Cookie Consent and Your Choices

When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner managed by Cookiebot. Through the banner, or by clicking “Cookie Settings” at any time, you may:

  • Accept all cookies (necessary, preference, statistics, and marketing);
  • Reject all non-essential cookies; or
  • Customize your consent preferences by category.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Legal standard for consent: Where required by applicable law, including the GDPR/UK GDPR, valid consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and expressed through an unambiguous positive action. Pre-ticked boxes, continued browsing, or scrolling do not constitute valid consent under these frameworks. Non-essential cookies will not be activated on the website unless you provide valid consent.

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand website performance and improve the visitor experience. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your device, browser type, and on-site activity. The data collected depends on the configuration of Google Analytics, including whether advertising signals, personalization features, or cross-site tracking are enabled.

Google Analytics data is processed under a data processing agreement between ProFarm and Google. Google states that, when processing analytics data for customers, Google Analytics acts as a data processor under the GDPR.

Google Analytics data is not received from third parties by us; we only receive aggregated, anonymized traffic and behavior reports. To opt out of Google Analytics measurement across all websites, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

  • Advertising and Retargeting Tags

We may use media tags, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies for advertising, retargeting, campaign attribution, and measurement purposes. These tools may allow advertising partners to recognize your browser or device across websites and display advertisements relevant to your prior website activity.

Advertising and retargeting tags are disabled by default and will be activated only if you provide consent through our cookie banner (where consent is legally required), or where an opt-out mechanism applies and you have not opted out.

Specific advertising and retargeting partners, along with the technologies they deploy, are identified in the Cookiebot cookie declaration table in Section 6 below. That table is updated automatically each time Cookiebot re-scans the website.

U.S. state law: In states where applicable, activities involving advertising cookies and pixels may constitute “sharing,” “sale,” or “targeted advertising” under state privacy law. You may opt out of these activities through Cookie Settings, the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link if displayed on our website, or a recognized opt-out preference signal as described in Section 7.

  • Specific Cookies Used on This Website

The table below is populated from the Cookiebot automated scan of profarm.com and lists each cookie, pixel, or similar technology used on the website, along with its provider, category, purpose, and duration. The declaration is refreshed each time Cookiebot performs a new scan; the scan date is shown in the footer of the declaration.

  • Browser Controls and Global Privacy Control

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings, including options to block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a notification when a cookie is set. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

Browser-specific guidance is available from:

  • Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-63947406
  • Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org (search “cookies”)
  • Apple Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471

Where legally required (including under applicable U.S. state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes), we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as an opt-out from the sale, sharing, or use of personal information for targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. Information about GPC is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.

EU/UK Notice: The GPC is not currently a recognized legal mechanism for withdrawing GDPR/UK GDPR cookie consent. To manage cookies under those frameworks, please use the Cookie Settings tool on our website.

  • Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and similar technologies we use, our service providers, the website, or applicable legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically.

The Cookiebot cookie declaration table in Section 6 is updated automatically each time Cookiebot performs a new scan of the website, independent of any update to this Cookie Policy.
